Happy new year folks

Happy New Year everybody. Sorry my post is so so late. It's been a very busy start to 2012 so far. I actually get married this year! I can't believe that on our 10 year anniversary me and Rob will get married and I will finally become Mrs Stoner.

Our wedding date is 27th November and due to having a winter wedding I have been hitting the sales hard so that I can get all our wedding bits and bobs as cheap as possible.

So far since the new year I have managed to get  my shoes, dress, tights, garter, faux fur jacket, gloves and shoes all at a reduced price.  I have also managed to get Imogen's dress, coat and stole in the sales so I've made a very good start.

There is still so much to do but I am absolutely loving shopping for our wedding. The best so far has been shopping for my ring. I was so excited once I found the ring I will wear when I become Mrs Stoner and even more excited when Rob agreed to actually get a ring for himself too.

I get a smile on my face everytime I think about our big day and I really can't wait.

It's Christmas!! (Well nearly)

Wow I can't believe that Christmas is almost upon us again! This will be Imogen's second Christmas and she is definitely a lot more aware this year. She is loving all the Christmas carols and songs (especially away in a manger) and is a big fan of tinsel. I can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning this year. It's going to be fantastic.

Imogen's view of the world

Yesterday Rob got a small camera to use to take videos while out and about on his bike. Imogen took an instant shine to it and decided to show us our house from her angle. It is very jittery and there is a lot of footage of her hand/ jumper etc but it is really nice to see how big everything is from her height. Our kitchen looks huge! She was singing along at one point (her new favourite thing) but she had switched it off by then. Her singing is better described as warbling and she is so serious when doing it that she has me and her Dad rolling around laughing. Anyway here is my little madams first attempt behind the video camera. Enjoy.

Well hello there

Hi everybody,

Well I'm completely new to this blogging game so not really sure where to start. I'll mostly be blogging about the wonderful little madam that is my daughter. My precious Imogen Rose.

Let me tell you a little bit about me. My name is Kirsty I'm 27 and have been with my wonderful partner Rob for 9 years! Next year we will be getting married on our 10th anniversary so I may well be blogging about that a fair bit too.

I became a mummy for the first time on 27th April 2010. It really was one of the happiest moments of my life. After a very long 24 and a half hour labour my little lady arrived at 3.02am weighing 6lb 3 and quickly became my everything. My little madam is now 18 months old and is such a cheeky toddler. She regularly makes me and Rob laugh with her dancing, singing and generally loony behavior and no matter how dark my day is she always manages to make me smile.

Anyways that's enough about me for now. Hope you all enjoy the blog as much as I will enjoy writing it.
